- Build and maintain a strong book of self-generated business.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process, providing expert advice and support.
- Present appropriate loan programs and financing options based on clients’ needs.
- Attend industry events, community functions, and networking opportunities to expand professional relationships.
- Actively participate in local organizations and community activities to increase visibility and generate new business leads.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of loan applications.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and consistent communication with clients throughout the loan process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to help facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire mortgage process.
- Address client questions, concerns, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners.
- 1–2+ years of experience as a Loan Officer with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Active NMLS license and strong knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations.
- Proven ability to generate and close mortgage loans.
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan programs and products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with loan origination software and Microsoft Office Suite.
