Logistics Management Specialist Security Clearance

Position: LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST with Security Clearance
Duties The primary purpose of this position is:
Serve as Logistics Planner and act as the Wing Support Agreement Manager. Assists the IDO with readiness requirements for mobility, reception, war, and contingency plans. Responsible for development, execution, ad administration of support agreements for host installation and tenant units. Administers the Support Agreement (SA) Program. Trains both traditional and AGR reservist in their duties and responsibilities as set forth herein.

* Assist the Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) with planning, organizing and implementing the Wing Deployment and Base Support and Expeditionary (BAS&E) site plans.
* Assists the IDO with Contingency Planning. Determines capability of the wing to support contingency taskings.
* Represents the Plans and Integration section with a variety of wing and functional area organizations.
* Manages and administers the Wing Support Agreement Program. Prepare support agreement IAW DoD, AF and higher HQ guidance. Requirements Conditions of employment

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Comprehensive knowledge of logistics management operations that involve wing-level planning, coordinating or evaluating contingency support, logistics readiness deployment and execution, support agreement and war reserve material management, base/expeditionary support, sustainment, redeployment, mobility bags/small arms weapons, and logistics command and control.

Work requires considerable skill in applying and integrating this knowledge to plan and accomplish a variety of complex work assignments and or to identify, analyze, and resolve logistics management issues or problems. In-depth knowledge of Integrated Deployment Systems (IDS) which include logistics management information systems necessary for planning and executing deployment operations (e.g., Logistics Module (LOGMOD) Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Systems (DCAPES), AEF UTC Reporting tool.

Broad knowledge of laws, regulations, polices, and procedures affecting deployment, base support, support agreement and war reserve material plans and programs. Knowledge of major issues, program goals, wing priorities, work operations, and managerial channels of wing organizations involved in deployment operations. OR

EDUCATION:

Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.

Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-09 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-11 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
