HHA​/STNA​/CNA

A Home Health Aide provides essential personal care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, safety, and quality of life. HHAs assist with daily living activities, basic health-related tasks, and emotional support under the supervision of a nurse or care coordinator.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help with mobility, transfers, and use of assistive devices
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks related to client care (laundry, cleaning client’s living area)
• Remind clients to take medications (no administration unless certified/authorized)
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor or nurse
• Take and record vital signs when required
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and agency policies at all times
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of a Home Health Aide training program
• Valid HHA certification (state-specific requirements apply)
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or required)
• Ability to pass background check and health screening
• Reliable transportation may be required

• Ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately
• Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility
• Time management and basic documentation skills

• Client homes (may involve travel between locations)
• Flexible schedules including weekends, evenings, or holidays
