How You’ll ContributeAn Inpatient Therapist who excels in this role:
- Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
- Displays active involvement in treatment planning.
- Provides family session counselling to all patients to ensure appropriate communication and involvement of family members and support groups.
- Actively communicates with clients, families and outside referral sources, demonstrating proactive communication with all involved in the patient’s treatment.
- Works well with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilisation review and nursing staff members, demonstrating active communication with team members.

- Education:
Master’s degree in social work or counselling or relevant state licensure required. - Experience:
Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical‑dependency patients.
