Multiple Locations (Primary: Youngstown)

• Teach assignments through didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical courses in the MLS program.
• Prepare instructional materials and deliver course content in alignment with objectives and program competencies.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of grades.
• Ensure course content reflects current clinical laboratory practices, methodologies, and quality assurance principles.
• Utilize learning technologies (e.g., LMS) to deliver instruction and communicate with students.
• Support student learning and competence development, contributing to program effectiveness and accreditation requirements.
• Collaborate with program faculty and leadership to maintain course quality, consistency, and institutional policies.

  Certifications:
  
  Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist through ASCP or equivalent.
• Work Authorization: Currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full‑time basis.
• Minimum Qualifications: Earned bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or equivalent; two years of clinical laboratory experience in major laboratory areas; ASCP certification or equivalent; U.S. work authorization.
• Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in clinical/medical laboratory science or equivalent; previous teaching experience in an MLS or MLT program.

Perform light work involving walking or standing, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds.

Typically Monday through Friday; teaching assignments may be remote or on-site.
