Personal Care Aide (PCA) – Per Diem

As a Personal Care Aide youll bring kindness patience and consistency to every interaction Youll provide personal care companionship and support to seniors helping them live safely and comfortably whether in our center or in their homes This position is ideal for someone who is caring dependable and enjoys meaningful hands on work Youll be part of a supportive care team in a calm people centered environment where collaboration compassion and growth come first

This position provides per diem hours with flexibility Ideal for individuals seeking work outside standard business hours including students caregivers parents or those looking for work that fits around other commitments

Provide personal care supervision and companionship to seniors

Assist with bathing dressing feeding toileting and transfers

Perform light housekeeping laundry and meal preparation as needed

Travel to participants homes and accompany them to appointments when required

Observe and report any changes in participant condition to the care team Document care and services accurately in Alaya Care Participate in team discussions and quality improvement initiatives

Build rapport and trust through kindness empathy and respectful communication

Able to follow established routines while using good judgment in daily careCPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain after hire well provide the training

Must be at least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or GED Experience working with the frail or elderly population is a plus but not required Well provide hands on training and mentoring to help you grow

Valid state drivers license with a clean driving record

Successful completion of background check physical drug screening and TB screening

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

Must be able to lift push pull and move a minimum of 25 pounds

Must be able to assist with participant evacuations when necessary

May encounter environmental challenges in participant homes proper protocols must be followed
