Occupational Therapist PRN OTR

Premier Therapy is seeking a PRN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST in Youngstown, Ohio to help residents rebuild independence and improve daily function in a skilled nursing setting. This role exists to deliver high-quality, resident-focused therapy that supports safe, meaningful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include evaluating needs, creating and updating individualized treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, documenting care, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Required qualifications/skills:

• Current OT license (Ohio) and applicable credentials
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
• Commitment to ethical, resident-centered care
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, with weekends available

You’ll arrive onsite, review the day’s schedule and notes, and connect with nursing and therapy teammates on priorities. Throughout the shift, you’ll move between resident rooms and treatment spaces, adjusting your approach to each person’s pace and goals. Between sessions, you’ll keep documentation current, communicate updates to the care team, and plan for upcoming visits. PRN scheduling means your week can flex, with weekday coverage and weekend availability as needed.
