Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising an F&B Outlet designated to this role and the overall daily management of a designated shift.
  • Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Assist with creating effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Food & Beverage Department for which this position is responsible.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Assists F&B Shift Manager to ensure efficient sanitary and pleasant service for all guests.
  • Assists in maintaining cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent pars and inventory.
  • Assist F&B Shift Manager with administrative duties, as assigned.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of food cost and labor analysis.
  • Knowledge of all phases of Food & Beverage and Casino Beverage administration, cost control and familiarity with all food and beverage services is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook).
  • Manage work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Other duties, as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assisting with staff development and training programs.
  • Responsible for rewards and recognition program to maximize employee engagement.
  • Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees in regard to performance.
  • Determines recommendations for staffing and scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Helps determine work procedures and expedites workflow.
  • Responsible for employee performance.
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four‑year college or university preferred;
Two years progressive F&B management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
