Senior Human Resources Manager

The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing all Human Resources functions across manufacturing facilities in Leominster MA and Youngstown, OH. This role provides strategic and operational HR leadership in areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, payroll coordination, and policy implementation. The position partners closely with plant leadership and corporate HR to ensure consistent practices, alignment with organizational goals, and a positive employee experience across both locations.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for both facilities, ensuring timely and effective staffing to meet production and operational goals.
  • Partner with plant leadership teams at both locations to identify workforce needs and develop strategic staffing plans.
  • Oversee and maintain a strong candidate pipeline by leveraging community partnerships, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, and online platforms.
  • Build and sustain relationships with external recruiting sources to ensure access to top talent across both markets.
  • Review resumes, interview candidates, and support hiring managers in selection decisions.
  • Oversee consistent onboarding and offboarding processes across both plants to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Partner with plant leadership to support and promote safety initiatives.
  • Implement, administer, and ensure consistent application of HR policies, programs, and procedures across both sites.
  • Act as a liaison between plant operations and Corporate HR to deploy training programs, policies, and organizational initiatives.
  • Drive performance management processes and support leadership in building effective training and development plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across both locations.
  • Coordinate with third-party payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits trends and partner with Corporate HR to administer competitive programs.
  • Monitor HR metrics and trends across both plants to identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Travel between both locations as needed to provide hands-on HR support and leadership presence.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to support multiple locations and leadership teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand, and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
  • Competencies:

    • Education:

      Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required.
    • Experience:

      5+ years of experience in human resources.
