Role Description

As part of the IT Applications Team, you will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, focusing on analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and proposing and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering:
    Engage with stakeholders and end users to understand the current state, collect and document business needs and objectives. This involves conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to ensure a comprehensive understanding of requirements.
  • Data Analysis:
    Analyze existing business processes and data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. This analysis helps in formulating actionable insights that drive decision‑making.
  • Solution Development:
    Propose and develop solutions that align with organizational goals. This includes creating functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and user manuals to support implementation.
  • Facilitating Communication:
    Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and project updates. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between non‑technical and technical teams.
  • Project Management:
    With the team’s support, organize and manage resources to achieve the goals within the defined scope, plan and budget; meeting the desired objectives and delivering value to stakeholders.
  • Project Documentation:
    Develop comprehensive project documentation throughout the application / project lifecycle, including business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications, interfaces and status reports to ensure alignment among all participants.
  • Testing and Validation:
    Oversee testing solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that implemented solutions function as intended.
  • Direct Support, Coaching and Training:
    Support the change network (Super Users, Key Users) to address learning curves effectively.
  • Assess Adoption and Proficiency of Changes Within the Organization:
    Ensure compliance with the applications change management approach and methodology.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    After implementation, monitor solution performance and report on effectiveness, adjusting as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Requirements for the job Education & Training / Skills
  • Degree in Business Management or Computer Science.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong communications skills – active listening, written and verbal communication – as the role interacts with end users, developers, application vendors, business 3rd parties and organizational leaders.
  • Problem‑Solving skills – an expert at identifying problems and developing successful solutions with analytical thinking and the ability to evaluate various options before making decisions.
  • Critical Thinking – the ability to analyze information, evaluate data and processes, and make or recommend informed decisions or improvements.
  • Adaptability – flexibility and willingness to adapt strategies and solutions to a dynamic business environment.
  • Technical experience – solid understanding of technology applications and data analysis tools, and how they can be leveraged to improve business operations.
Experience
  • +5 years in applications (ERP / MES / SPC / Scheduling).
  • +5 years in manufacturing companies.
  • +5 years in project management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, JIRA, Celoxis, Monday, etc.).
Competencies
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to influence decision‑making.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver on time.
  • Ability to think analytically, critically and creatively to solve business challenges.
