The Role:

A premium national law firm are looking to grow their Litigation practice group with a number of hires into their Cleveland, Ohio office. The firm has recently undergone a significant merger and has since grown to a platform of over 1,000 attorneys.

About the Group:

The Commercial Litigation team have an excellent platform of over 260 attorneys who are recognised both nationally and internationally. The litigators represent public and private companies of all sizes, multinational corporations, individuals, municipalities, and government bodies on a local, national, and international scale.

The group are also top-ranked by Chambers USA for commercial litigation in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, and Ohio. The litigators are recognized individually by Best Lawyers in America; Chambers USA; Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio Super Lawyers; and Benchmark Litigation.

Experience:

• Candidates must have over four years of experience in a relevant law firm setting.
• Experience with all aspects of commercial litigation, including drafting and responding to complaints, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals, and have strong research and writing skills.
• Experience handling high-stake litigation for sophisticated clients around the globe.
• Familiarity with working on matters at both a national and international level.
• Familiarity with managing electronic discovery, including managing document collections and vendors is a plus.
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and handling oral arguments is a plus.
• Trial experience is beneficial.
• Excellent academic records, as well as superb skills in writing, communication, interpersonal, and analytical.
• A relevant Juris Doctorate Degree is a must have.
