Chemical Cleaning Supervisor -Industrial Services

HPC-Industrial, Powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Chemical Cleaning Supervisor IS (Industrial Services) to work at various customer locations and join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for supervising the work during industrial tank cleaning operations, following all site‑specific safety guidelines and protocols, and all instructions. The supervisor manages two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper equipment operation, driving operational efficiencies, and providing timely & accurate documentation. The supervisor maintains compliance with company policies and promotes strong customer relationships by delivering quality industrial cleaning services. The Chemical Cleaning Supervisor serves as the representative of HPC‑Industrial in building continuous client relationships. Traveling within the region is required. TWIC preferred.

• Instructs, provides feedback, and directs crew to complete work in accordance with client requirements and company policies.
• Enforces company employee policies and may remove an employee from a job when required.
• Schedules jobs and crews.
• Dispatches crews based on calls received during nights and weekends.
• Assumes Operations Manager or Branch Manager duties when requested.
• Reviews work orders and ensures all required equipment is available and operational prior to starting a job.
• Inspects equipment and work area prior to starting any job, correcting deficiencies that could cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, or equipment damage.
• Informs clients as required regarding job status and client requirements.
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required.
• Completes all appropriate paperwork, including service receipts, and submits to designated management.
• Trains technicians and operators on‑the‑job in equipment operation, service line processes, and necessary paperwork.
• Operates all necessary equipment in the service line (chemical, hydro‑blasting, painting, blasting, and vacuum) in accordance with training and safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 5 plus years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• RCRA certificates.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in people management.
• Strong knowledge of equipment used in the service line.
• Strong verbal and written English language skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel). Microsoft Access is a plus.
• Experience with Win Web (HPC Software).
• Attention to detail & highly organized.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current certification as an authorized company driver.
• Ability to calculate load weights for manifest completion.
• Issue manifests correctly per waste stream, transporter, TSDF, and PO.
• Maintain filing system for issued and returned manifests.
• Assist HPC drivers with Win Web ticket entries as necessary.
• Inspection of roll‑offs and coordination with vac truck supervisor for water and oil removal.
• Travel 80–90% of the time.
• Occasional job walks.
