As an Electrical Maintenance Technician
, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the performance of our electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise directly impacts uptime, safety, and production flow across the facility.
- Executing Down Day prep, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance activities
- Completing required daily documentation and work orders in the CMMS (SAP)
- Reducing electrical delay rates and improving equipment reliability
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment, AC/DC control circuits, and motor systems
- Scanning and managing repair parts and inventory usage
- Participating in maintenance improvement projects (including RCA)
- Supporting efficient response times and maintaining required competencies
- Communicating daily with Area Leads, Supervisors, and Planner/Schedulers
- Identifying errors in SAP data, spare‑part kits, or inventory issues
- Verifying accuracy of CMMS equipment records and reporting discrepancies
- Supervising or coordinating external contractors as needed
- Setting up all required Down Day parts and materials
- Maintaining tools, supplies, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI)
- Upholding all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements (PPE, LOTO, OSHA)
- Managing time reporting (KRONOS), 5S, and general housekeeping standards
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, electrical schematics, and manuals
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills to solve practical maintenance problems
- Mechanical and electrical comprehension in an industrial environment
- Experience operating or understanding AC/DC overhead traveling crane systems
- Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC control circuits, motors, and magnet control systems
- Ability to work at extreme heights and in varying environmental conditions
- Proficiency in SAP (work orders, PRs, inventory, planning/scheduling)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and demonstrated leadership traits
- High attention to detail, accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement mindset
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Education/Experience Requirement:
Two years vocational school + six years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience OR eight years heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience
