MIG Welder

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials in a safe and orderly manner to meet production requirements.

Pay: Starting at $20-$23 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 10:30pm to 6:00am(OT may be required)
Location: Youngstown, OH

Specific Duties:

• Perform welding work proficiently and at a fast pace
• Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
• Measure and cut materials to meet precise specifications
• Use appropriate materials to join metals together by welding
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets specified tolerances
• Select, measure, and cut metals to specification
• Prepare metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assembly
• Regularly clean and inspect welding equipment and tools
• Observe all safety rules and regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Operate 4” and 9” grinders for extended periods of time

• Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Minimum 2 years of experience in welding
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Fluxcore/Dual Shield welding
• Strong manual labor skills with the ability to perform physical tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn company processes and improve skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to follow instructions from the supervisor
• Knowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniques
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
