Industrial Multi Craft Maintenance Tech

Pay: $24 - $28 dependent upon experience

The Maintenance Tech position supports both the Maintenance and Production areas. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position will act as the first point of contact for any machinery or equipment issues.

• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions
• Disassemble engines & mechanical units
• Clean parts, like pistons, valves, and parts of transmissions and clutches
• Inspect parts for defects
• Install specified new or reconditioned parts (relined brake bands and clutch plates, sprockets, pump cylinders, other parts of engines mud pumps)
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
• Test function of pumps or other mechanical units, using auxiliary power
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects

• Experience using hand tools
• Ability to follow oral and written work orders
• Experience using voltmeters and other testing devices
• Strong Electrical experience
