Assistant Supervisor / Team Lead

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour (Based on Experience) Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Supervisor / Team Lead to support daily operations within a manufacturing and assembly environment. This position is ideal for someone with previous manufacturing, assembly, or leadership experience who enjoys working hands-on while helping coordinate workflow, train employees, and ensure quality and productivity goals are achieved. The Assistant Supervisor will work directly alongside the production team while assisting with scheduling priorities, reviewing work orders, interpreting drawings, coordinating assemblies, and ensuring products are completed accurately and on time.

• Review and interpret work orders, production schedules, and assembly drawings
• Help organize daily workflow and prioritize production needs
• Assist employees with assembly procedures, product specifications, and troubleshooting
• Train and support team members on assembly processes and quality expectations
• Measure, cut, trim, and assemble floor modules and related products according to specifications
• Perform assembly using hand tools, adhesives, cutting equipment, and production tools
• Apply bonding agents and adhesives during production processes
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
• Complete production paperwork, route sheets, and documentation accurately
• Package and label finished products for shipment
• Assist with inventory, material staging, and production organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work independently while also assisting supervisors and production staff as needed
• Step in and assist on the manufacturing floor whenever necessary to ensure production goals are met
• Promote safety, teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or team lead experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and production documents
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be dependable, motivated, and able to lead by example

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and use hand tools regularly
