Our shifts run Monday‑Thursday, 10‑hour days: 5am‑3pm or 3pm‑1am, paid bi‑weekly.
About the RoleThe CNC Machinist operates computer numerical control machines to produce precision parts, using technical drawings and specifications to ensure quality and performance. Responsibilities include setting up, programming, and monitoring CNC equipment; performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting; and collaborating with engineering and production teams to improve processes.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with CNC programming languages and machining tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Associate degree in machining technology or a related field.
- Experience with multi‑axis CNC machines.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
- Certification from a recognized machining program.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine machining operations.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve any production issues.
A strong understanding of technical drawings and proficiency in operating CNC machines are essential. Attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols are required. Experience with CAD/CAM software and multi‑axis machines is advantageous.
