Aluminum Extrusion Operator Our client in Boardman is seeking reliable and motivated Aluminum Extrusion Operators to join their production team. This is a hands‑on role in a manufacturing environment, ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a focus on quality and safety.

$17.00/hour

• Set up and prepare extrusion machinery by loading raw materials and adjusting machine settings per product specifications

• Operate extrusion machines to manufacture plastic or metal products according to established guidelines

• Monitor and adjust the extrusion process in real‑time to maintain product quality and efficiency

• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or operational issues to minimize downtime

• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement, to keep machinery operating efficiently

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure a consistent flow of raw materials

• Maintain accurate records of production counts, machine settings, maintenance, and quality checks

• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment

• Assist in training new operators on proper extrusion procedures and machine maintenance

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience in machine operation, extrusion, or a manufacturing setting preferred

• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

• Additional technical training or certifications in machine operation is a plus
