Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week contract

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
• Safely administer medications, including cardiac drips, adhering to current clinical standards
• Serve as the primary contact for care coordination throughout hospital departments
• Manage care for adults and geriatrics, including those with multisystem organ failure, neuro, or stroke conditions
• Respond decisively to rapidly changing patient conditions utilizing evidence-based practices
• Perform clinical interventions such as hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation
• Support patient and family coping through education and compassionate advocacy

Qualifications/Experience

• Active RN license in Ohio or in a compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Dysrhythmia exam must be passed (study guide available)
• At least one year of RN experience, with six months in an acute care setting preferred
• Neuro/stroke experience strongly preferred; critical care course and EPIC experience are advantageous
