• Day shift, Monday–Friday: 6:30am–3:00pm (8 hours preferred) or 6:30am–5:00pm (10 hours)
• Occasional early starts at 5:30am depending on daily caseload
• On-call rotations: approximately 10–12 shifts every 6 weeks (includes 1–2 weekends and 1–2 weekdays), 30-minute call turnaround

• Circulate in two CVORs—including a hybrid TAVR room—handling 2–6 daily cases (CABG, TAVR, VATs, general surgeries)
• Perform comprehensive pre‑, intra‑, and post‑op patient assessments and documentation
• Act as the primary point of contact for patient care coordination
• Administer medication and monitor responses, ensuring adherence to the latest clinical standards
• Prepare equipment and manage sterile fields for cardiac and general surgical procedures
• Support patient and family education throughout the surgical process
• Serve as a patient safety advocate and actively participate in department quality improvement initiatives

• Current RN license (compact eligible if required)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of cardiac OR experience, plus at least 1–2 years of general OR nursing
• Familiarity with dysrhythmia assessment (study guide provided), previous travel experience preferred
