Tier 3 - System Flex Team Traveler Registered Nurse (RN) is assigned to various sites throughout the Bon Secours Mercy Health System to provide patient care, promoting and restoring patients’ health through the nursing process and the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse. This includes analyzing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care following established patient care standards;

collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends; and supervising assigned team members. The RN reports to the System Flex Nurse Manager. System Flex Team Registered Nurse is hired with the expectation they must float to assigned sites within the Bon Secours Mercy Health System outside of their home market (no local placements).

• System Flex Team Registered Nurse is hired with the expectation and understanding they must float to assigned sites within the Bon Secours Mercy Health System outside of their home market.
• Conducts an individualized patient assessment to include psychosocial data, prioritizing data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within facility policies, procedures, or protocols.
• Formulates and implements a plan of care for each patient, including interventions, evaluation of responses, and documentation as appropriate to condition and age.
• Delivers care with appropriate age and cultural competence, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team and incorporating a professional practice model into care delivery.
• Demonstrates awareness of and supports departmental and operating unit goals through participation in quality improvement and departmental activities as a patient advocate.
• Maintains in good standing current eNLC RN licensure and required certifications.

• Associate of Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• One year as a Registered Nurse (minimum) with nursing experience in specialty
• 4-5 years as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
• 1-2 years as a Travel Nurse (preferred)
• Ability to function in multiple levels of care (preferred)

• BLS, ACLS – American Heart Association (required)
• Compact License eNLC RN and/or licensed to work in OH, KY, VA, and SC
