This role supports the store management team in driving store execution and performance with a focus on excellent customer service.

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who, when there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, leads the store staff, ensures that store operations run smoothly, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing and following up on all activities; communicate information to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
• Handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.
• Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves; execute displays, signage and inventory for weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandise; maintain off-shelf merchandise and reset departments following POGs.

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts; ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

• Experience as a retail supervisor.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

• Pay Range:
  The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $16.00 per hour. The actual base salary offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors.
