Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview: This position functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role involves maintaining store standards, assisting customers, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload trucks and process merchandise according to store procedures.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; assist in plan-o-gram implementation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by locating merchandise and greeting shoppers.
• Operate cash register, handle transactions, and manage register accountability.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and set up sidewalk promotions.
• Assist in opening/closing the store, and perform safety and security tasks in the absence of management.
• Authorize refunds, monitor cash levels, and ensure adherence to cash control procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong math skills and knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Ability to operate IBM cash registers and follow safety policies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and presentation guidelines.

Experience &

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience preferred.
