Position Overview

The Sales Coordinator will report directly to the Sales Operations Manager and will serve as a key liaison between the Sales, Production, Engineering, and Shipping teams. This position supports both the Gaming and Hospitality Sales teams by ensuring customer orders are entered accurately, managed efficiently, and communicated effectively throughout the order fulfillment process. The Sales Coordinator will play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting internal collaboration across multiple departments.

Scope

The purpose of the Sales Coordinator at Gasser Chair is to manage customer orders from receipt through delivery while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. This position serves as a central point of contact for order‑related communication, coordinates with internal departments to meet customer expectations, and proactively resolves issues to support on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Management:
    Enter, review, and maintain customer sales orders within the ERP system while ensuring all specifications, pricing, and shipping requirements are accurate.
  • Customer Communication:
    Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and sales representatives by providing timely updates regarding order status, changes, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination:
    Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Shipping to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Proactively identify and resolve order discrepancies, production concerns, shipping issues, and other customer‑related challenges.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of customer orders, order changes, confirmations, shipping documentation, and related correspondence.
  • Sales Support:
    Provide administrative support to the Gaming and Hospitality Sales teams, including assisting with quotations, order history, customer requests, and related activities.
  • Reporting:
    Generate and maintain order tracking reports and provide updates to leadership as requested.
  • Process Improvement:
    Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve order management processes and documentation.

    Collaboration:

    Cross‑train with peers and provide backup support for customer service and order management functions as needed.
  • Customer

    Experience:

    Build positive relationships with customers by providing responsive, professional, and solution‑oriented service throughout the order lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, order management, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
