Position
Part‑time faculty in the Geology & Environmental Studies Division, teaching undergraduate courses and leading labs and fieldwork. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, evaluating student work, and maintaining office hours.
QualificationsRequired:
earned master’s degree in geology and current authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Preferred: earned doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in geology and academic experience teaching advanced, upper‑division geology courses.
Schedule & LocationTypical Monday‑through‑Friday schedule. Teaching assignments are on campus at the YSU Main campus in Youngstown.
Physical RequirementsSedentary work: involves sitting most of the time with occasional brief walking or standing.
