Correctional Officer

$24.11 per hour

• Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility.
• Supervise inmates in housing units, at meals, during recreation, on work assignments, and during all other phases of activity.
• Employ weapons or force as necessary to maintain discipline and order.
• Work any shift and may be assigned to posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to security and inmate care.

• High school diploma, GED certification, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete required training.
• Available to work any hour or shift.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Criminal justice experience preferred. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
