• Travel to customer sites in a company-provided service van to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine repairs on gas, diesel, LPG, and electric forklifts
• Troubleshoot equipment issues in the field and determine effective repair solutions independently
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment condition, needed repairs, and timelines
• Accurately document work performed, parts used, and service reports using paper or digital systems
• Maintain the service van inventory, tools, and parts to ensure readiness for daily calls
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards while working at customer locations
• Manage daily service routes efficiently and professionally
• Take the company service van home nightly and be prepared to begin work directly from home each day
