As an Electronic Technician, you will provide, maintain, and troubleshoot programmed software to ensure a reliable and safe production environment.
Your Role at a Glance:
- Communicate effectively with the Electrical Supervisor and peers.
- Troubleshoot electronic/electrical equipment and HMI-related issues.
- Maintain operational status of all electronic/electrical equipment.
- Program and/or troubleshoot Level 1 and Level 2 of the production line.
- Perform maintenance tasks on electronic/electrical equipment.
- Support and lead maintenance improvement activities (CIT, MADE, RCA, CAPEX).
- Evaluate new and replacement electronic/electrical hardware.
- Document work history accurately in SAP, including entering and closing work orders.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions and technologies.
- Lead by example and promote safety programs and activities.
What Sets You Apart:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, PLC language (Allen Bradley/Siemens), and procedure manuals.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and VFDs (Allen Bradley/Siemens/ABB).
- Skilled in AC/DC low-voltage control circuit troubleshooting.
- Solid mathematical and reasoning skills for problem-solving.
- Above-average electrical and mechanical comprehension.
- Associates degree in electronics or substantial progress toward completion preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of industrial electrical/electronic maintenance experience.
- Proficient in PLC codes (AB and/or Siemens) and traceability systems.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft applications.
