WFMJ-TV FULL-TIME TV TECHNICIAN

WFMJ is looking for a full-time Master Control Operator / Technical Director who is willing to work a very flexible schedule that includes weekends and various hours during the week. Qualified individuals will operate switching and automation equipment in Master Control along with operating Ross Overdrive production automation equipment in the Control Room. Computer skills, timekeeping, and the ability to organize and multi-task are a must.

Responsibilities:

• Operate master control switching and automation equipment.
• Operate Ross Overdrive production automation equipment in the Control Room.
• Handle remote feeds, syndication acquisition, and segment shows/spots using Florical.
• Coordinate with producers, direct talent and guests, and code newscasts and local shows.
• Maintain coding and production schedules.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Master Control & Technical Directing strongly preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in computer operations and organization.
• Flexible to work weekends and various hours.
