Interpret and enforce the Ohio State racing commission rules and administrative regulations to insure integrity of pari-mutuel racing and wagering.;
Review alleged violations, issue rulings after hearings, and may levy fines or suspensions; make recommendations to the Ohio State Racing Commission.;
Review initial license applications, interview applicants, and determine eligibility to be licensed; advise track management on licensing matters.;
Observe live races and replays to determine interference or disqualification and ensure race integrity.;
Monitor wagering patterns, cancel wagering where irregularities are discovered, and coordinate with veterinarians on sampling and test results.
