As a Shipping & Labeling Warehouse Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising employees and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the assigned team.
Key Responsibilities- Train new employees and ensure compliance with shipping and labeling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Prioritize workloads and assign tasks to team members
- Print packing slips and verify that orders are accurately pulled, labeled, consolidated, and loaded
- Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
- Conduct 1-week, 3-week, 6-week, and annual performance evaluations
- Provide clear instructions, monitor progress, and deliver constructive feedback
- Coach, mentor, and develop employees for future growth opportunities
- Report significant personnel, maintenance, production, or operational concerns to management
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company success
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven leadership ability with experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity.
- Detail-oriented with experience ensuring inventory, quality, and safety compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or shipping supervisory experience preferred.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift overhead.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
