Position Overview
Perform warehouse and pipe department tasks such as cutting wire, operating large machinery, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory using WMS procedures.
Responsibilities- Cut wire and cable with machines, ensuring accurate cuts.
- Load, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables for job orders.
- Fill product orders per customer specifications.
- Receive incoming material, identify, break down, note discrepancies, and prepare for storage.
- Store product according to WMS processes.
- Accurately select, check, and pack UPS orders following WMS packing, weighing, manifesting, palletizing, and loading procedures.
- Process non‑UPS orders through WMS and pack for transport, meeting carrier pickup schedules.
- Pack and palletize replenishment shipments per WMS protocols.
- Handle stock tickets and pack cross‑dock shipments per WMS procedures.
- Sort and pack Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts, bin location verifications, consolidate inventory, and handle stock discrepancies as per WMS procedures.
- No experience required.
- Minimum physical ability to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials up to 70 lbs, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, climb ladders, cut wire, and climb.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts and other large machinery per manufacturer’s instructions.
- Work effectively in a warehouse environment with seasonal changes and inclement weather.
- Adherence to safety instructions and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- High school diploma or GED (preferred for 2‑3 years of prior warehouse experience).
- Knowledge of WMS processes in assigned area.
- Reading and mathematical skills.
- Thoroughness and accuracy.
Monday - Friday, 11:00 am - 8:00 pm.
CompensationStarting at $18.19 per hour, DOE.
Required EquipmentSteel‑toed boots required.
