Overview

PlanITROI is seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and people strategy. This HR leader will partner closely with executive leadership to build scalable HR programs that support organizational growth, operational excellence, and teammate engagement.

The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and be responsible for the full spectrum of human resources activities, including, but not limited to, compliance, talent development, teammate relations, performance management, workforce planning, investigations, culture, and more. This role will play a critical part in shaping company culture while ensuring HR practices support our mission of Changing Lives with Affordable Technology.

The ideal candidate is hands-on and operational—capable of developing long-term people strategies while remaining actively involved in day-to-day HR functions within a fast-growing, operations and technology-driven organization.

This is a full-time, ONSITE role in Youngsville, NC, reporting to our Chief Strategy Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Serve as the primary HR leader at the PlanITROI Center of Excellence in Youngsville, NC, and partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business goals across the organization.

    Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, retention, and culture initiatives.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Lead initiatives that support company growth, operational scalability, and teammate engagement.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Design and execute career pathing and professional development initiatives to support internal mobility and growth.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Lead and drive initiatives that reinforce company values and support a high-performance culture.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Provide guidance and coaching to managers on coaching, interviewing, teammate engagement, conflict resolution, documentation, and performance management.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Guide teammate relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Partner with leaders to develop effective management practices and strong team dynamics.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies and procedures.
  • HR Management & Leadership Support:
    Conduct in-person onboarding, orientation, and compliance training (including NAID) for new hires.
HR Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Execute HR policies, procedures, and the teammate handbook.
  • Manage HR documentation and operational processes.
  • Improve HR systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.
  • Evaluate HR metrics and workforce data to support informed decision-making.
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and teammate experience.
  • Lead investigations and manage risk mitigation strategies related to employment matters.
  • Assist in Audit documentation and compliance procedures.
  • Partner with leadership and the HR Team to identify workforce needs, support competitive compensation structures that support talent attraction and retention.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts across the organization.
  • Conduct in-person onboarding and NAID compliance training for new hires.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
  • Proven experience (7-10 years) in HR management, HR business partnering, or senior HR generalist roles within manufacturing, operations, production environments strongly preferred.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, guiding organizational design, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA requirements.
  • Familiarity with NAID, ISO, or other compliance frameworks is a plus.
