Quality Assurance Supervisor

A global manufacturing company in the northwest Phoenix, AZ area is searching for a motivated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their Quality Assurance team for high-level support of quality processes at the AZ facility as well as other US facilities. Travel is 25% of the time or as business needs require.

This is a full-time, direct hire position with benefits (401k matching, health, dental, vision, PTO).

• Conduct internal audits and inspections at local and occasionally nationwide facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
• Develop, implement, and enforce multi-facility quality standards and protocols for manufactured products
• Hire, train, and supervise quality staff
• Identify and investigate any deviations or non-conformities, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective measures and prevent recurrence of issues
• Support product compliance to industry standards and internal specifications and support product testing of multiple product lines
• Maintain accurate documentation of product and quality data, inspection logs, audit reports, corrective actions, etc.
• Continuously assess and improve quality assurance processes and procedures
• Additional duties as assigned by management

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field is ideal
• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance, auditing, or a similar role within the consumer goods manufacturing and/or plastic fabrication
• Understanding and hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) including ISO 9001:2015 and ASTM F963
• Strong understanding of engineering and quality concepts including dimensional tolerances and structural standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
• Strong intermediate mathematics skills and high-intermediate proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Frequent sitting, standing, using a computer, communicating verbally and in writing, occasionally lift 20-50 lbs and frequently lift 10-25 lbs, operate standard office equipment requiring continuous and repetitive arm/hand/eye movement, and travel to/from various locations inside and outside the building
