The Opportunity
Derby College Group (DCG) is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support ESOL and Adult Basic Skills students across all our sites. You will provide a range of support services both in and outside of the classroom to help learners with specific inclusion needs achieve and progress.
You will support learners aged 19 and older in the ESOL programme, providing shared group support, one‑on‑one support, in‑class and out‑of‑class assistance, and facilitate outdoor sporting activities. The role will assist 19+ learners to enhance their English and mathematics skills, facilitating progression into Further Education and employment.
Qualifications and ExperienceYou should have experience in ESOL, either as a learner or in a supportive role within an educational setting.
A valid driving licence and the ability to use a car are required.
