The Eastern Michigan University Communication Sciences and Disorders Program invites applications for a part time lecturer. The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program area. This part-time appointment (no benefits) will begin in the Fall 2026 semester.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Meet with students during and outside of assigned classes
- Assess student work and performance
- Prepare syllabi and course materials
- Provide copies of syllabi and course materials to supervisor on request
- Assign and submit grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules
- Perform related departmental duties as required
A graduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field) and a certificate of clinical competence from the American-Speech-Language Hearing association in speech-language pathology or audiology.
Preferred QualificationsCollege or University Teaching Experience is desirable.
