School Psychologist in Ypsilanti, MI

Make a significant impact supporting elementary students by working as a contract School Psychologist in a vibrant, education-focused environment. This position offers the chance to use your expertise to positively influence children's learning and development throughout the  school year. The role is based onsite and primarily involves collaborating with elementary-aged students, educators, and families to foster an environment where every student can thrive academically and emotionally.

• Active, valid Michigan School Psychologist license (must provide verification upon applying)
• Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university
• Prior experience in school settings is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to assess student needs and develop strategies to support both academic and social-emotional growth
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective intervention plans
• Counsel students individually and in groups to address academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings and help develop appropriate educational goals
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines

This full-time opportunity runs from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Part-time arrangements may be considered for outstanding candidates who require flexibility. All work is performed onsite, emphasizing the importance of strong collaborative relationships within the school community.
