CMK Resources is currently looking for an MDM Support IT Technician to support one of our partners located in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan. This position will join an established IT support team and play a key role in supporting mobile device infrastructure, troubleshooting end-user issues, and assisting with onsite IT support needs.
This is a contract to hire opportunity and requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities- Answer incoming support calls and accurately log issues into the help desk ticketing system
- Troubleshoot mobile applications and MDM functionality using VMware Air Watch / Workspace ONE
- Work closely with Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to ensure a smooth mobile user experience
- Provide face-to-face and remote end user support with a strong focus on quality resolutions
- Assist users with setup and support of mobile devices (cell phones, tablets), laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals
- Build and configure PCs for internal use, including imaging, image maintenance, and asset tracking
- Perform mobile device, PC, and printer troubleshooting and repair
- Provide OS and application support for end users
- Assist with technical training and user education as needed
- Support video conferencing systems and other onsite IT equipment
- Create and follow documented IT standards and procedures
- Resolve tickets and respond to communications in a timely, professional manner
- Support special IT projects as assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stay current on technology trends and best practices
- Provide occasional after-hours or weekend coverage as needed
- Administer and troubleshoot VMware Air Watch / Workspace ONE
- Support and secure iOS and Android devices within the MDM environment
- Create and manage iOS and Android device profiles
- Assist with setup and daily management of the Air Watch MDM platform
- Partner with other IT teams to resolve issues and identify root causes
- Provide support for Apple and Android mobile device deployments
- Experience working in IT support, including mobile infrastructure and deployment
- Hands-on experience with VMware Air Watch / Workspace ONE (MDM)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS and PC hardware
- Ability to support users at all levels, including executive leadership
- Experience supporting Apple and Android devices (iOS and Android)
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and team-focused mindset
