Overview

Underground Printing (UGP’s) Mission Statement is to help bring customer communities to life through custom branded apparel and merchandise.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, self‑driven individual to train as a press operator at our Ypsilanti production facility and warehouse.

We work in a fast paced environment that requires attention to detail and quick thinking. This position starts at up to $16 an hour based on experience with the opportunity for advancement every 6 months. We provide on‑the‑job, paid training.

• Using emulsion to coat silk screens
• Burning screens in the exposure unit to be used in production
• Organizing screens to be moved into production
• Cleaning screens before use
• General shop cleaning in the screen department
• Standing all day
• The ability to lift up to 40lbs
• The ability to keep up with a busy production schedule

Ten days of paid time off and 7 paid holidays are given to all full‑time Team Members, with the opportunity to earn raises, promotions and additional PTO. Full‑time Team Members are also eligible to join our 401(k) Plan – with employer 4% matching. All Team Members receive a 40% discount.

The position will require standing all day, the ability to lift up to 40lbs, and the ability to keep up with a busy production schedule.
