Registered Nurse - Perioperative
Work 4 days, 9‑hour shifts at Huron Gastro, a leading adult gastroenterology practice.
Provide perioperative nursing care including patient admissions, care planning, physician and endoscopy assistance, sedation management, recovery support, and charting.
Responsibilities- Patient admissions and preparation
- Implement patient plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures for the patient
- Physician assistance
- Endoscopic procedure assistance
- Monitor and support for the recovery of patients undergoing anesthesia
- Administer conscious sedation and reversal agents
- Patient charting in EMR system
Education
- BS or BSN in Nursing preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Current RN license in good standing required
- CPR or BLS certification
- ACLS certification
Experience
- 2+ years of nursing required
- Pre‑operative and recovery experience preferred
- Medical, Dental and Vision
