Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Night Shift. 13‑week contract starting May 4, 2026; 12‑hour night shifts (3 shifts per week); weekly pay $1,710–$1,800. Competitive weekly pay and opportunity to work near Ann Arbor.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-required)
  • BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
  • ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
  • Minimum 1 year recent bedside clinical experience (2 years preferred)
  • Experience in LTAC, step‑down, or similar acute care settings is a plus
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orienting staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses — electronic charting
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and contribute to patient rehabilitation and care coordination
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient/family education from the day of admission
  • Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and maintaining a safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and other care providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Support a positive team environment and participate in unit‑based team building and quality improvement activities
  • Identify opportunities for professional growth and pursue continuing education — career development for RNs
