Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Progressive Care Unit Nurse

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care or step-down unit, ensuring safe and effective recovery and stabilization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions regularly and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and intervene to prevent complications.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or step-down units.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
