American Traveler is hiring an RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit position requiring ICU-level device management skills and night shift availability.

• Work in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical step-down unit (2 East)
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1, sometimes 3:1
• Night shift schedule of 7p-7:30a with every other weekend required
• Manage chest tubes, arterial lines, PICC lines and other central lines, ostomies, trachs, NG tubes, wound vacs, and various drains
• Administer drips/IV infusions including Heparin, Insulin, Nitro, Amiodarone, and Cardizem

• Active MI RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• ICU background experience is beneficial for this role
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Required to work Thanksgiving and one additional winter holiday
• Candidates residing in Michigan may be eligible for local rates
• Radius rule of 60 miles applies for consideration
