Underground Printing (UGP’s) Mission Statement is to help bring customer communities to life through custom branded apparel & merchandise.

We produce all of our printed apparel in our production facility in Michigan with 173,000 SF of screen printing and embroidery production and over 250+ employees. We consistently rank in the top 10 largest screen printers by volume in the U.S. and are one of the fastest growing online clothing retailers.

We serve both B2C and B2B customers such as non‑profits, retailers, and universities through our 22 store and office locations across the United States. Additionally we help brands and licensors sell online both through company‑branded and marketplace websites.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, self‑driven individual to train as a press operator at our Ypsilanti production facility and warehouse. This position starts at up to $16 an hour based on experience with the opportunity for advancement every six months. We provide on‑the‑job, paid training.

• Using emulsion to coat silk screens
• Burning screens in the exposure unit to be used in production
• Organizing screens to be moved into production
• Cleaning screens before use
• General shop cleaning in the screen department
• Standing all day
• The ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• The ability to keep up with a busy production schedule

Ten days of paid time off and seven paid holidays are provided to all full‑time team members, with the opportunity to earn raises, promotions, and additional PTO.
