Our members love shopping for fresh food at Sam’s Club because of our hard‑working and customer‑focused associates. In this role you will join the meat team to help cut, package, and display high‑quality meat products for members. Your attention to detail, steady hand, and positive customer service will make a difference in each member’s shopping experience.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with teammates and adapt to business needs, including working in other areas when required.
• Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor and back‑room operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance. Prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) to established standards and maintain quality.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience. Apply handheld technology for real‑time decisions on production, training, and quality with the member in mind.
• Be an Owner: Maintain operational excellence, work‑area cleanliness, date‑control standards, and product safety. Assist members with purchasing decisions and ensure all merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high‑quality service, maintain energy and passion for the work.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; use the Open Door Policy and apply best practices in business processes.
• Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; determine priorities and communicate progress.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation, including premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, may be awarded based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
