Freezer, cooler, and deli stockers play a critical role in keeping fresh food healthy, safe, and accessible for members. You maintain the presentation, temperature, and quality of products, and provide courteous customer service in the deli area. Your work directly supports Sam’s Club’s commitment to offering high‑quality fresh food at competitive prices.

• Ensure high‑quality products are properly taken care of and available for members
• Maintain clean shelves, solid temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products
• Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and display them on stock displays
• Keep the area clean, sanitized, and member‑ready

Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. Conduct safety sweeps, use forklift spotting procedures, handle hazardous materials, and report unsafe situations to management.

Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer/cooler/deli area. Handle claims and returns, zone the area, receive and stock merchandise, set up, clean, and organize product displays, remove damaged goods, sign and price merchandise, complete required audits, paperwork, logs, and documentation, and secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise.

Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting Sam’s Club products and services.

Follow company policies and procedures in the freezer/cooler area: comply with food handling policies, operate, repair, and sanitize equipment, follow cold‑chain procedures when stocking, clean the area including windows, mirrors, display cases, and order feed, monitor fans, drains, and doors, and report issues to management.
