Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Building Maintenance

Michigan Mitigation is a locally owned emergency restoration company specializing in water damage mitigation, structural drying, and mold-related services. Our team helps homeowners and commercial clients recover from unexpected water losses with professionalism, urgency, and care.

This is a full-time, on-site Technician role located in Ypsilanti, MI. The Technician will handle daily tasks such as equipment operation, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include performing installations, troubleshooting, inspections, and assisting team members with fieldwork. The Technician plays a vital role in upholding quality standards and ensuring project timelines are met.

• Technical skills in equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in construction, installations, and fieldwork tasks.
• Ability to perform inspections and ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Capability to work in an on-site, physically demanding environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to comply with safety regulations and adhere to company policies.
