Position OverviewFSS Technologies is hiring an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead fire sprinkler installation crews on commercial job sites. This role directs the day-to-day work of a project crew, ensures the work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with NFPA standards, and mentors apprentices and fitters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead commercial fire sprinkler installation projects from start to finish.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop apprentices and fitters assigned to the crew.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors on each job.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and sprinkler shop drawings.
- Ensure installations comply with NFPA standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors.
- Maintain project schedules and labor budgets.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on the job site.
- Complete daily reports, job documentation, and progress updates.
- Ensure every project meets FSS Technologies’ quality standards.

Education & Experience- Minimum five years of commercial fire sprinkler installation experience.
- Previous experience as a foreman or crew leader is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- This is a full-time, field-based role working from active job sites within the assigned service area.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 13 installation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret sprinkler plans and construction drawings.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to direct and coach crew members.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage schedules, materials, and issues that come up on site.
- Pay range for this role is $26.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experience. If holding NICET would go up to $45.00 per hour.
