We are seeking a Robotics Field Specialist who loves wrenching, wiring, and solving electromechanical puzzles in the real world. You need a sharp diagnostic instincts, practical mechanical/electrical skills, and the resourcefulness to get machines running using the tools and parts on your truck. We will train you to become a certified expert in autonomous drive systems, sensor calibration, and electric vehicle (EV) powertrains.
Whatyou'll do at work
- Hands-on Field Diagnostics & Repair: Rapidly isolate and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults on commercial robots operating at customer sites nationwide.
- Field Improvisation: Apply practical thinking to resolve unexpected issues on-site, from repairing wiring harnesses and replacing drive actuators to unbinding linkages and troubleshooting connectors.
- Customer Fleet Deployments & Commissioning: Lead on-site robot delivery, site boundary mapping, functional verification, and initial customer onboarding across commercial facilities nationwide.
- Hauling & Transport: Safely operate company utility trucks towing enclosed/flatbed trailers loaded with robots, diagnostic tools, and spare inventory.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance on electric powertrains, battery systems, hydraulic/linear actuators, and multi-season quick-attach implements.
- Customer Training & Interface: Act as the front-line technical face of Snowbotix, walking facility managers and ground crews through safety procedures, basic controls, and fleet portal operation.
- Software & Hardware Upgrades: Connect via diagnostic terminals to run motor calibrations, push firmware updates, flash microcontrollers, and pull telemetry logs.
