CACI/Space’s Radar and Sensor Technologies group seeks a systems engineer to support a primary program working with the US Government to define software staff requirements. In this role, you will help develop systems that support national security and space technology. Your responsibilities include adapting the architecture to program needs, developing testing approaches, and coordinating across teams to ensure clear understanding throughout the software development cycle.

This position is based in Ypsilanti, Michigan and requires a US citizen holding a Top Secret Clearance.

• Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
• Collaborate with radar/electro-optical and research scientist experts to improve image product quality.
• Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to USG customers.
• Work with software engineers to translate signals and architecture into working code.
• Develop standard and repeatable processes to support development and integration of new and emerging capabilities.
• Support engineering review boards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner.

Required:

• US citizenship with a current/active Top Secret clearance.
• Full-time on-site availability.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (four years).
• At least 2 years of experience performing system engineering and/or software development.
• Knowledge of signal processing.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development and Jira.

Desired:

• Experience with model-based systems engineering.
• Experience with AWS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working on Agile or SAFe development processes.
• Programming experience.
• Experience writing software implementing algorithms.
• Desire to learn new technologies.

Proposed Salary Range: $72,500 - $148,500.
